The aim of this project is to transform everyday coffee breaks in the office into small moments of interaction and engagement.
Inspired by the tradition of reading fortunes from Turkish coffee, Lavazza Fortuna Wall reinterprets this ritual as a contemporary spatial experience. A simple physical action is translated into a digital response, creating an intuitive interaction between user and installation.
The system is based on a heat sensor embedded in the wall. When a hot coffee cup is brought close to the surface, the sensor detects the temperature and activates the system. One of Lavazza’s twelve core values is then randomly selected and displayed together with a short, poetic message.
